Gloria worked as an Art Therapist in Tooting Bec Hospital, London, from 1976 to 1978.

In the late Seventies she was commissioned to paint several portraits in oils.

During the Seventies and Eighties Gloria had a studio in Dordogne, France. She painted many landscapes, capturing the light, the green colours and rugged characteristics of that region.

In the early Nineties Gloria designed several book jackets for private commissions.

Gloria now works mainly in acrylics and watercolour, drawing her inspiration from everyday artefacts. She uses bright colours and simple shapes and likes to bring texture into the surfaces of paint.

She has recently become a member of the National Acrylic Painters Association.
